Sik City Promotes Skating to a Local School
After getting approval from the school board in September 2007 Sik City Skateboards donated a 3′-6″ quarter pipe and a grind box to The Albert Bridge School in Brownsville, VT. The skateboard implements were a huge success! At any given time five to ten skaters would be shredding in the parking lot of the school. (That is a lot considering Brownsville is a very small town).) Sik City plans to continue to promote skateboarding through donating skateboard implements.
Skateboarding is fun and great exercise! It gets kids and some grown ups off of the couch and outside!
